What to do in case of an accident?
In case of a collision, rollover or accident, ASSAMobile Assistance will coordinate the dispatch of an ASSA inspector to file a report.
The inspector will give you the accident inspection form. Keep this document and give it to the repair shop with the additional documents.

What types of coverage do we offer?
Basic Civil Liability Plan, commonly known as Third Party Damage.
Full Coverage Plan: Includes Civil Liability for injury and death of third parties, Civil Liability for damage to third-party property as well as damages to own property such as: collision, overturning, theft, robbery, earthquake, earthquake, flood, medical attention, among others.
What is roadside assistance?
We offer 24/7 road assistance free of charge, 3 towing services per year for commercial vehicles, and in the case of vehicles used for pleasure and/or leisure and business, we also offer tire change services, power supply, ambulance dispatch and fuel, according to the contracted limits, and those laid out in the general conditions of the insurance policy.
What does the gold and platinum addendum offer?
Gold and Platinum Endorsements offer additional active benefits with pre-established amounts chosen by the client, such as:

- Non-application of depreciation to 0kms cars during the first year of coverage.

Fidelity Insurance
What is included in Fidelity Insurance?
It offers compensation for loss of money, tangible property due to fraudulent or improper acts, committed by employees, alone or jointly.
What is a 3D Fidelity policy?
It is a policy used in non-financial entities and small financial entities, in which additional coverages can be purchased as follows:
- On-premise losses
- Off-premise losses
- Check forgeries
- Signature forgeries
What policies are offered?
The following policies are offered: Bank Fidelity, Comprehensive Commercial Fidelity, and 3D Comprehensive Fidelity.
Machinery Breakdown Insurance
What does the machinery breakdown policy cover?
This policy covers direct damage to machinery caused by inexperience, negligence, malicious acts, direct actions of electric energy (short circuit, arcing, consequence of lightning), design or assembly errors, lack of water in steam apparatus, centrifugal force, foreign bodies introduced or striking the machine, abnormal stresses, loosening of parts, greasing defects, failure in regulation devices, storm, hail, frost, thaw.
Excludes: wear of belts, belting, tires, dies, damage to glass, fuels, lubricants, cooling media, electrical switches, failure or defect prior to insurance, malice. Experiments, normal wear and tear, losses still under manufacturer’s warranty, work suspension.
What additional coverages can be acquired under the machinery breakdown policy?
- Internal fire, internal chemical explosion and lightning strike

Civil Liability Insurance
What does the Civil Liability policy cover??
It covers the sums that the insured is required to pay for damages due to bodily injury to third parties or damage to third-party property due to an accident or an event arising from the insured’s activities.
Does this policy cover additional payments in addition to damages to third parties or third-party property?
Yes, it also covers expenses and interest for defense, judgment, and sentence, expenses for first aid rendered to third parties immediately after the accident, and expenses incurred at the request of the company.

Fire Insurance
What does Fire Insurance cover?
Fire insurance covers the loss of the building of your residence due to destruction or material damage as a direct or indirect result of fire.
Does fire insurance cover the contents of my home?
Yes, it does. Each item must be declared when taking out the policy.
How is the value of my home determined when taking out the insurance?
The value to insure your home will be determined by the building value minus accumulated depreciation. The value of the land is not included.
Does the policy include improvements to the property?
Yes, it does. However, you must inform us of these improvements and update the sum insured of your policy.
What are the coverages offered by Fire Insurance?
Destruction or material damage as a direct result of fire, water in extinguishing a fire, lightning strike, smoke or soot, impact of land or air vehicles, removal of debris.
Additional coverages: fire and direct damage due to earthquake, windstorm, flood, public disorder, mischief, looting, lack of refrigeration, loss of income, loss of profits.
What is the deductible in a fire policy?
In the event of a loss, the deductible will be 1% for non-catastrophic and 2% for catastrophic.
How much does my insurance pay me in case of a loss?
The fire insurance policy pays the Actual Actual Cash Value of the property affected by a loss covered by the policy. Actual Value is understood to be the replacement value or cost of the damaged property less accumulated depreciation.
All-Risks Material Damage Insurance
What does the All-Risks policy cover?
Property Damage: compensation for sudden and accidental loss, destruction or damage to the property or parts thereof covered by the policy. Includes breakage of machinery and electronic equipment.
Business Interruption: indemnity for business interruption due to damage to property covered by the policy, maximum 30 days.
Electronic Equipment Insurance
What type of equipment can be insured under the electronic equipment policy?
Data Processing Equipment: (Computers, Monitors and others), Office Equipment: (Fax, Photocopiers, Typewriters and others), Communications Equipment: (Telephones, Switchboard and others), Antennas (Satellite dishes and others), Autobanking, Medical Equipment, Cashiers, Electronic Advertising Boards, Panels, Electric Entry Phone, and Metal Detector.
What are the types of coverage offered by electronic equipment insurance?
Material damage due to: fire, lightning strike, explosion, implosion, soot smoke, corrosive gases, liquids and dusts, flood, action of water and humidity, short circuit, burnout, arcing, magnetic field disturbances, insufficient insulation, overvoltage caused by lightning, insulation coughing, construction errors, assembly failures, material defects, handling errors, carelessness, imperfections, negligence, negligence, imperfection of the equipment, handling errors, carelessness, inexperience, as well as malicious damage and malice of third parties, theft, hail, frost, storm, land subsidence, landslide, rock fall.

Yes, portable electronic equipment can be insured by additional coverage as specified. Coverage applies both on and off the premises.
Credit Card Insurance
What does credit card insurance include?
Compensation for charges made to credit accounts and extensions that were stolen, lost or lost due to fraud or forgery. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Does credit card insurance have international coverage?
Yes, it includes charges made inside or outside the country.
What happens if my card was counterfeited?
It includes 100% compensation for forgery or use of the card number.
Heavy Equipment Insurance
What are the coverages offered by heavy equipment insurance?
Damage to equipment and machinery caused by:
Fire and/or lightning, explosion, cyclone, tornado and/or hurricane, flood, earthquake and landslide, collapse or sinking of bridges, piers, culverts, collision, derailment, or overturning of the means of conveyance while the insured property is being transported, theft and collision, overturning or falling of machines operated by means of gasoline, diesel, oil, steam or electricity.
Multi-Risk Insurance
What does miscellaneous insurance cover?
All risks for movable and immovable property that require coverage that encompasses different lines of business.
Cargo Insurance
What are the coverages offered by land cargo insurance?
- Fire, lightning, auto-ignition and explosion.
- Collision of the vehicle with another vehicle or object
- Overturning of the vehicle transporting the described goods
- Windstorm, cyclone or tornado
- Collapse of bridges or culverts
- Landslide, stone or rock collapse
- Flooding due to the overflowing of rivers or streams.
- Excludes: breakage, theft, rain, negligence, abandonment, disappearance, wear and tear, loss of market, infidelity.

What are the coverages offered by marine and air cargo insurance?
- Loss or damage that can be reasonably attributed to:
- Fire or explosion
- Grounding, stranding, capsizing, sinking, or capsizing of the vessel or craft
- Overturning or derailment of the land conveyance
- Collision or contact of the ship, vessel, or means of transport with any external substance except water
- Discharge of cargo at a port of arrival. Loss or damage caused by:
- Jettison of general cargo

Should insurance be taken out on a per period or per voyage basis?
No. It can be contracted under either of the two modalities, as follows:
Individual Cargo: for each trip or, if it is a single trip.
Open Cargo: in the case of importers/exporters who maintain an average of cargoes in a determined period of time.
Theft Insurance
What does a theft policy cover?
Damage to the property covered by the policy and to the building containing said property due to theft or attempted theft. It does not cover theft or disappearance.
What type of property is not insurable under this policy?
Motor vehicles and corresponding equipment, animals, blueprints, plans, patterns, drawings, molds, models, trade books, manuscripts, records, loose jewelry stones, unset pearls, property outside the property (air conditioning, electric panel), lottery tickets, valuables left in vehicles without supervision or while being transported.
Yacht Insurance
What types of vessels are covered by this policy?
This policy covers yachts destined for pleasure, sport fishing, or occasional rental for tourism.
It does not apply to wooden boats, racing yachts, jet skis, boats dedicated to artisanal fishing, rental, industrial aid, or for commercial use (transportation of cargo and/or passengers), wear and tear.
What parts are covered by hull insurance?
Hulls, masts, booms, sails, materials, boats, tackle, furniture, machinery, and fixtures are covered.
What are the coverages offered by hull insurance?
- Absolute or constructive total loss + particular damage.
- Damage caused by fire, lightning, explosion, sinking, shipwreck, grounding, grounding, grounding, collision, bad weather.
