Group Solidary Funeral Expense
In the event of the death of the principal insured or any of the insured family members due to natural or accidental causes, the Company, once the established waiting time has expired, will coordinate the provision of the funeral services agreed upon within the territory of the Republic of Costa Rica through the network of funeral service providers authorized by the Company.
This is a collective product, so there must be a policyholder and a group of insured parties that share a risk that can be associated among them, in this case, due to the nature of the product the group to be insured must belong to a Solidarity Association.

Thanatopraxy service (body preparation, dressing, body make-up) |
Standard linear cut wooden casket or coffin |
Advice on legal procedures before the competent authorities for burial or cremation. |
Decoration of church or wake room with 3 (three) floral arrangements. |
Use of wake rooms nationwide, if required, for up to twenty-four (24) hours, or home delivery service. |
Coffee service in the wake room. |
Religious service. |
Rental space for five (5) years in available cemeteries nationwide where this modality exists and according to availability, or cremation service with the provision of a cemetery urn. |
Land transfer service of the deceased in casket or coffin nationwide. |
Mourner transportation service. |
Expatriation service, which corresponds to legal advice at the place of death and the cost of consular formalities, the special hermetically sealed coffin, wooden packaging, the cost of air transportation, and all costs of the expatriation by air of the insured deceased to his country and city of habitual residence. |
